Kathy Tetu, principal coach and mediator has been working with families and business clients for more than 10 years. Kathy provides a personalised service, working with individuals to develop capacity to overcome communication difficulties. Coaching, Conflict Management & Mediation Services offers people the opportunity to play an active role in resolving communication issues and take control of their situation.
Kathy maintains top level industry skills through ongoing training with reputable organisations and is occasionally invited to present at industry conferences.

History and Principal profile
Conflict Management Mediation Services was established in 2004 by Kathy Tetu to assist families, businesses and community organisations experiencing conflict.
Kathy is a nationally accredited mediator who is qualified with a Masters in Dispute Resolution (UTS) and sits on a number of mediator panels for workplace and family matters. She has been providing family mediation services, as an independent mediator and with a number of provider agencies, since 2000. Kathy has more than 600 hours of mediation experience.
In the workplace, Kathy assists management and leaders to facilitate change. She has 13 years experience as a communication educator and trainer in the field of conflict management and team building. In 2006, Kathy was the recipient of the TAFE NSW Neil Vickers Award for ‘Excellence in Teaching Communication Skills’. For the past six years, she has consulted to government organisations and private businesses, operating as the Principal of Conflict Management Mediation Services.
As a registered Family Dispute Resolution Provider, Kathy is qualified to issue certificates under section 60I (8) of the Family Law Act Amendment 2006. She has been carrying out family mediations for more than 10 years. Kathy works with families privately and under contract to the Newcastle Family Relationship Centre.
